Remember When we bought a Snail....

Well, we bought a snail, Gary, for a tank companion for our fish. 2 days after we got him he died. I cleaned out the tank and took him out. I decided at the last minute to just make sure he was dead so I put him back. I called Luke who was still in Prince George to stop at Walmart on his way home and get 2 new snails just in case one died again. Well, the next morning we woke up and discovered 3 snails alive and well in our tank. So we now have Wall-E the fish, Gary and Spongebob and Patrick snails. Good thing i did not throw him in the garbage huh!

Booger Eyes

Poor Tripp has had a yucky left eye since birth( clogged tear duct) but now the other eye is goopy too. He has been to the clinic numerous times and had 3 different prescriptions. Poor Little Guy! hope it clears up soon so he does not have to have it surgically opened.

To the Doctor Again!

So, it seems as though our family has been SICK all winter.
Well, we have. Trpp is getting over his RSV still and we
all still have the sniffles and now Kayleb has brought
home PINK EYE for all of us. Well actually only
Mommy and Kayleb and Thayne. Grrrr. I can't
wait till spring time.
But on a good note we had all the boys wieghed:
Kayleb - 54lbs.
Thayne - 44lbs.
Tripp - 13.4 lbs.
Holy Shmolly, they are getting BIG!

SuRpRiSe!

For those of you who have been following our blog for a while will recall Kayleb Falling in LOVE with Kayaking this past summer during a field trip to Echo Lake with his class. Well we really wanted to surprise him with a Kayak for his Birthday this year. We have been researching online and all around for a nice one in our price range. Well we kept getting road blocks and the price kept going up. Well we checked good old Canadian Tire one last time and found two on clearance. One was on sale for $179.00 and the other for $298.00 we decided to get both so more of 0ur growing family could enjoy. The kid that was helping me did not know squat so I spent lots of time waiting. So I went to check out. We were waiting for the first kid to get up on the big ladder to see the scan code for the kayaks and waited and waited and waited. Finally he comes up with the codes. The guy checking out said "good news. The one will be $79.00 instead of $179.00." Yay! I LOVE a good bargain. So he proceeds to scan in the other one and says, "More good news. This one is only $110.00 instead of $298.00" SCORE! So with a bit of patience and luck and a great mom who was out in the car with Tripp who was not pleased and Thayne wanting her to tell stories and getting inpatient the whole time I was in their waiting. Thanks Mom! It was all worth is to see the HUGE smiles on the boys faces as the surprise was revealed 5 months early. (Kaylebs B-day is in July)The kayaks are from G+G Hatch, G+G Schumann and Mommy and Daddy! Now we just have to wait for the snow to go away and the ice to melt off the lakes. :)

The Cute houses go perfect in my livingroom. Thanks!

First Foods

I know that we are a bit early here since he is only 3 months but Tripp was having problems with Elimination again and so i thought I would try some fruit to get things moving. He liked it but was not too eager and did the "shuttering" thing a few times. After all that effort to get a teaspoon or two down, he still was having the Elimination Problem. Grrr!

You all guessed right!

I was surprised when I pulled the pics our
of how much Thayne and Tripp look alike.
Kayleb has his own little look though.

YAY!

I won a contest on my friend Karli's Blog.
Can't wait to see my prize.
I'll post when I get it.

Treacherous is the word of the day!
As we walked out the door to take Kayleb to School this
morning he exclaimed, "IT"S Raining!"
I told him no it was just snow melting off the roof,
but I was wrong. It was coming down HARD.
So we load up in the van and head for town.
The back roads were SliPpErY due to the ice
now covered in rain.On one of the last corners
on the dirt road before the highway I lost
control of the van for a second.
It hit the tall snowbank on the passenger side
of the van and we did a
"Lightning McQueen Dirt Corner"
if you know what I mean. My heart was
RACING and I was totally scared.
But Kayleb piped up from the backseat and
exclaimed" THAT WAS FUN!" I quickly corrected
him but stating that it was NOT fun and that it
was actually really scary and dangerous.
He Then Said,
"Well, we almost Died , but it was sooo Fun"
BOYS!!!!!!!!!!
But everything is fine , van, kids and my heart.

Although when we reached town my chest was aching.

2 good things though, the SNOW will melt a bit due to the rain, and that van is pretty clean!

Happy Belated Birthday to

Miss Jadyn Hatch

A BIG Thank You to my Awesome Luke.
Thanks for the cute header you created for the Blog.
Trial and Error. Little miscalculation on the size,
but that is not his fault since he had to make it remotely.
( We don't have Internet at our house so he had to guess)
