A Feel Sorry for My Self Day

My day yesterday was a fun one. In the morning
it was -30 again and the van decided not to start
for school. So I had to hook up the battery charger.
We loaded up and as we are driving down
our road( 2 hours Late)
we notice a dog running in from of us and then
realized it was Bob, our dog who had broken his
cable. Then I find out that a medication i wanted
to get on for my PCOS is not available in Canada
and then I find out that I have Bronchitis and
Tripp has RSV. So I begged Luke to stay home
today and I got to sleep in till 10 am.
Plus he took night shift.
Yay. I love my Luke!

My Goofy Goobers

Poor Little Man...Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV)

Before Treatment...
During...
After... Not his favorite thing to do every 4 hours.
We are really lucky that I just happened to have a Dr's
Appointment for myself and Tripp was with me.
I was not too worried about him yet but
our awesome Dr. checked him out anyway.
So we caught it really early and we are
hopefully going to be able to treat it at home.
But on a brighter note he is gaining weight.
He is a whopping 12.4lbs.

Hurry!!!! This is the last day to HELP!

My friend Karli is having a friendly "Blog War"
with her husband and would like our help.
They are trying to see how many visitors
they can get to their blog. All you need to
do is visit her blog at:

Checkin' Out the Baby Calves and a Cute Baby Horse with Papa

The Boys had so much fun going over and seeing the "babies" where Papa Schumann is helping with the calving. They informed me at dinner that night that they want to just move over to Toby's (were the babies are) so they could see the animals everyday.
Sorry guys, but our boring old home will have to do for now.
What a fun experience for them though.

Primary Activity

Sister Thorne, Sister Brooks, and Sister Kochel

Our Primary just had a really neat activity on Saturday.
First we went out to the Fawcett's farm and they got to go
on a horse drawn sleigh ride , then sledding down a great
hill with snowmobile rides back to the top.
Then Hot Chocolate and cookies, then another Sleigh ride,
then to top it off rides on the Team.
Thank you to all involved with the planning and execution of the party.

It was a BLAST!

Thayne Thanks "Jill" the Horse

Bookmarks...

Thank you Karli for sharing the idea.
I love these easy to make Corner BOOKMARKS.
Super Cute Huh!

Another cute bookmark idea.

Making Valentine Cupcakes for Kayleb's Class

Mixing the Frosting.
(I love my Red Kitchenaid,
Thanks Mom and Dad Hatch)
Kayleb tests the frosting to make sure
his classmates will approve.
Do you think he is enjoying it?
Kayleb putting on the Sprinkles.
Notice all the frosting on the FACE.
What a GOOF!
Yummy, hope the Kids love them!

Making Mini Cupcake Pops...

To begin start with a Swing with plenty of battery life...
And a little "Treehouse Disney"

and Two AWSOME KIDS!

Then make a cake as directed on the box.

Now take the cooled , baked CAKE and...

...and BREAK IT all up into tiny CRUMBS!
( it feels kinda strange to "wreck" a nice new cake,
but it is nessasary and kinda FUN!
Mix the crumbs and a can of
Cream Cheese Frosting together.
Two kinds of "dough" ready to go!
Chocholaty Fudge, and Rainbow Chip
ROLLING, ROLLING, ROLLING...

Technical Difficulty,
Tripp needs some attention,
nothing a little BOTTLE can't fix!
I think he will survive!
Now back to work.
Form the "dough" into 1.5inch balls, chill,
then use mini cookie cutter to form into
the cupcake shape. Then chill again.
Thayne "tests the product"
to make sure it is not POISONOUS.
It Pass the Test!
Mmmmmm
Drying the Chocolate.

10 Hours of work and Voila!....
71 Mini Cupcake Pops!
(and 45 Mini Cupcakes)
Fun, Super Cute,
but I am not so sure
I'll do it again.
Too much Work.
We'll See.
