3rd Annual Friends Campout

We just returned from the
``3rd Annual Friends Campout``.
We went to Hallett Lake, which we went to last year. We went out on wednesday night after Luke returned from work. We arrived at camp about 9pm. By the time we got the tent up and beds set up and a fire going it was Really Dark! We were the only ones out there that night. Kayleb kept saying that he saw a bear and needless to say I had the creeps. So when Luke was done getting a fire going (1 1/2 hours because everything was so wet) We got into bed. All the boys fell fast asleep while i lay awake almost the whole night hearing every little noise outside our tent. The next morning I was exhausted. Our friends started to arrive before lunch. We ended up with

We camped for 5 nights and 6 days ( coming in to go to church and then heading back out) We had an absolute blast. Thayne learned to ride a 2 Wheeler bike, Luke had a bike race on kid bikes with our friend Vance, the boys caught fish, jumped off a tree into the lake, swam to an island, went on boat rides, rode a tube behind the boat, 2 pinatas, ate and ate and ate, played with sparklers and glowsticks every night and BEST of all played non-stop with all their friends. Filthy dirty every minute and having a BLAST!!!!!!!!

Can`t wait till next year.
To make it more exciting we will have
an 8 month old little Tripp to play with.
